Financial Markets

In order for currency to have value, you need a market to make your financial transaction. For example, I can have plenty of ETH.. but I can't spend it to buy my spinach kale -- unless there is a market for it.

When we think or traditional financial markets we might think of the NYSE or any other popular in person exchange. However, with the age of the internet, we now have new markets popping up every night to trade crypto-currencies.

Other Markets

In addition to these normal channels, there are plenty of other markets that take place in the world. For example Silk Road would be the example of a modern black market.
